This notice describes Brampton Windows practices when a person contacts us through the website, by telephone or by email about a possible or existing job. It covers information connected with enquiries, estimates, appointments and service records under our care.

Details we may receive
The information available to us depends on what you decide to send and how far a project proceeds. It can include your contact details, the municipality or postal area of the property, the requested service, photographs of an opening, measurements, drawings and messages exchanged with our team.
Business records may also include appointment notes, quotations, approvals and service history. Web servers create routine technical records, such as the time of a request, browser information, IP address and the page requested. Please keep highly sensitive material—including payment-card numbers and government identification—out of ordinary enquiry forms and email.
Why the information is used
Submitted details allow us to understand the request, determine whether it fits our work and service area, ask informed follow-up questions, prepare a proposal and coordinate an approved project. Records can also support scheduling, safety, customer service, warranty administration, accounting and the resolution of concerns.
Technical website data is used for operation, security and troubleshooting. A request for a quotation is not treated as permission for unrelated advertising. Any future optional promotional list would use its own consent and unsubscribe process where applicable.
Your choices when sharing information
You can choose not to provide optional details. Some facts, however, are necessary to answer a question responsibly or arrange work—for example, a way to reply, the general project location and enough context to identify the service.
Consent may be withdrawn for later uses, subject to reasonable notice and obligations that still apply to an accepted job or required business record. Removing information needed for an estimate or service may mean we cannot continue that request.
Service providers and required disclosure
We do not operate a business that trades customer information. Limited details may be handled by companies that supply hosting, email, security, communications or other operational support, and by suppliers or trades involved in a requested project. They receive only what is reasonably related to their role.
Information may also be disclosed when legislation permits or requires it, when necessary to respond to a safety or fraud concern, or during a legitimate business transaction with appropriate protections. A provider located outside Canada may be governed by the laws in its own jurisdiction.
Website technology
Basic server logs and limited browser storage may be used to keep pages and forms dependable, investigate errors and deter misuse. The site can request fonts, icons, anti-spam services or similar resources from other providers. Such a request can reveal ordinary connection information to that provider.
Those external services publish their own privacy terms. Blocking a non-essential resource through browser settings may change the appearance or operation of part of the site.
Keeping and protecting records
Different records have different useful lives. An unanswered enquiry need not be kept as long as a completed project file that supports tax, insurance, warranty or dispute records. When information is no longer reasonably required, it can be removed, destroyed or stripped of identifying details.
Administrative, digital and physical precautions are selected according to the sensitivity of the record. Electronic communication always carries some risk, so send only project information that is appropriate for the chosen channel.
Access, corrections and unresolved concerns
You may ask about personal information held about you and request a correction or access where the law provides that right. We may first confirm identity and may withhold material where a legal exception applies.

Revisions to this notice
The notice may change when our services, website tools or legal duties change. The date shown at the top identifies the version currently posted. A significant new use of information already collected would receive any additional notice or consent required by law.
